Tinidazol ist ein anti-parasitisches Medikament gegen Protozoen-Infektionen. Es ist weithin bekannt in ganz Europa und die Entwicklungsländer als Behandlung für eine Vielzahl von amöbischen und parasitären Infektionen.
Pharmakologie: Es ist chemisch ähnlich wie Metronidazol - ein Medikament mit einigen unangenehmen Nebenwirkungen, die in den Vereinigten Staaten als First-Line-Therapie für Amöben verwendet wird. Tinidazol hat ähnliche Nebenwirkungen, hat aber einen kürzeren Behandlungsverlauf mit einem bequemeren Dosierungsplan.
